πŸ“ž What Does a Call Centre Agent Do?

As a Call Centre Agent, you will be the first point of contact for customers needing assistance with City of Tshwane services. You’ll handle calls, emails, and face-to-face interactions, ensuring that customers receive accurate information and excellent service.

πŸ’Ό Key Responsibilities:

βœ… Answer customer queries and resolve complaints professionally
βœ… Maintain and update customer records using SAP CIC and CRM systems
βœ… Process service requests and escalate issues when necessary
βœ… Ensure fast and efficient customer service in line with municipal standards
βœ… Work across different regional customer care centres as required
βœ… Maintain high service quality and meet performance targets
βœ… Assist in improving customer service operations

πŸ”Ž Who Can Apply?

To qualify for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

βœ”οΈ Grade 12 (Matric)
βœ”οΈ Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service or call centre role
βœ”οΈ Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
βœ”οΈ Good problem-solving abilities and customer service skills
βœ”οΈ Technical knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
βœ”οΈ Knowledge of SAP CIC & CRM systems (advantageous)
βœ”οΈ Understanding of municipal services and billing processes
βœ”οΈ Must be willing to work at any regional call centre in Tshwane

πŸ”Ή Must undergo a criminal record check & fingerprint verification through TMPD (at own cost)
πŸ”Ή Strong interpersonal skills – ability to handle complaints with empathy and professionalism
