What You’ll Be Doing

Job Objectives:

• Customer Service: You’ll make sure every customer has a great experience. Be friendly, helpful, and make them feel good about shopping at Clicks.
• Sales Transactions: You’ll work at the point of sale (POS), scanning items, processing payments, and handling cash safely.
• Promotions: Promote Clicks’ clubcard and sign up new members to help hit clubcard participation targets. Let customers know about special deals and promotions to boost sales.
• Merchandising: Keep the store looking great by following visual merchandising standards and taking care of housekeeping duties.
• Knowledge Sharing: Stay updated on products, promotions, and events so you can give customers accurate information.

What You Need to Succeed

Knowledge:

• Basic math skills
• Understanding of retail/FMCG merchandising and promotions
• Knowledge of stock management and customer service excellence

Skills:

• Planning & Organizing: Keep things in order and manage your tasks well.
• Problem-Solving: Quickly figure out solutions when problems pop up.
• Customer Focus: Always put the customer first and ensure they have a good experience.
• Communication: Be able to talk clearly and listen well.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy and numeracy skills.
