One of your biggest responsibilities will be making every customer feel welcome. You should greet customers politely, answer their questions, and assist them in finding the products they need.

You will process customer purchases using the tills. This includes scanning merchandise, accepting payments, and making sure every transaction is completed accurately.
Attention to detail is very important because you will be handling cash and processing sales throughout the day.
Customers may need advice when selecting clothing or fashion items. You will use your product knowledge to recommend suitable products and encourage customers to buy additional items where appropriate.
Helping customers find what they need also helps increase the store’s sales.
You will ensure shelves and displays remain fully stocked throughout the day. When new stock arrives, you will unpack and place it on the sales floor so customers can easily find it.
Keeping products available is an important part of providing great customer service.
Visual displays help attract customers and showcase the latest fashion trends. You will assist in making sure all displays, promotional materials, and price tickets are correctly placed and easy to see.
A clean and attractive store creates a better shopping experience for everyone.
You will assist the manager with daily store operations whenever needed. This may include helping with stock counts, organising merchandise, and completing other tasks that keep the store running efficiently.
Preventing stock loss is an important responsibility. You will help ensure store equipment is secure, report suspicious activities, and support plans designed to reduce losses.
You must understand and follow the store’s health and safety rules to help create a safe environment for customers and employees.
The store works towards daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. As part of the team, you will help achieve these goals by providing excellent customer service and encouraging sales.
