Your Responsibilities

As a Cleaner, your duties will include:

• Thorough Cleaning: Ensure all assigned areas in the hospital are cleaned thoroughly according to the schedule.
• Special Projects: Take part in special cleaning tasks, such as floor stripping and sealing, when needed.
• Health and Safety Checks: Participate in regular health and safety inspections and report any issues to the management.
• Infection Control: Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines and infection control protocols to keep the hospital environment safe.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:

Educational Requirements:

• Minimum of Grade 8 or equivalent qualification.

Experience:

• Must Have: Previous cleaning experience in a hospital setting.
• Advantageous: Experience in cleaning operating theatres.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Familiarity with the use of buffing machines and floor maintenance.
• Understanding of cleaning chemicals and infection control principles in a healthcare environment.
• Ability to follow healthcare standards consistently.
• Willingness to work shifts as required by the hospital unit.
• Strong sense of responsibility for the quality of work.

Additional Requirements:

• Traceable references are a must.
