Minimum Requirements

To apply for the Data Capturer role, you must have:

  • Senior Certificate (Matric) or National Certificate (Vocational)
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work with different people
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, data entry)
  • Knowledge of Health Data Capturing Systems is a plus
  • A clear criminal record

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Capturer, you will:

  • Enter health-related information into approved data systems.
  • Check that data is accurate and matches original records.
  • Keep records updated and stored correctly.
  • Produce weekly and monthly data reports.
  • Back up information regularly.
  • Maintain statistics and registers when needed.

Your work will directly support the improvement of healthcare services and ensure accurate reporting for the Department of Health.
