As a Clinic Receptionist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic by managing appointments, patient records, and reception duties. Your main tasks will include:
✔️ Registering patients and assisting them with forms (including medical aid paperwork).
✔️ Scheduling appointments and ensuring smooth patient flow.
✔️ Handling phone calls professionally and providing accurate information.
✔️ Maintaining patient records and ensuring all details are up to date.
✔️ Processing medical aid payments and assisting with authorizations.
✔️ Ensuring the reception area is clean and organized.
✔️ Providing customer service by assisting walk-in visitors and guiding them as needed.
✔️ Handling emergency situations and providing support to patients in distress.
To qualify for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
✅ Matric / Grade 12 Certificate (Essential)
✅ Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
✅ Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
✅ Good telephone etiquette
✅ South African citizen
✅ Clear criminal and credit record
✅ Dedicated work station (You’ll be at your desk most of the day)
✅ Own reliable transport / Driver’s license (Advantageous)
