✅ Minimum Requirements
- 🎓 Matric / Grade 12
- 🧾 6+ months cashier or till operation experience
- 💻 Computer Literate – MS Office
- ➕ Strong numeracy and accuracy
- 🗣️ Fluent in English (verbal & written)
- 🛒 Basic customer service skills
- 🕒 Willing and able to work retail hours
💼 Job Responsibilities
- 👋 Deliver excellent customer service at the till point
- 💳 Handle all payment types (cash, cards, coupons, loyalty points)
- 🔄 Process refunds, exchanges, and returns accurately
- 🛍️ Stay up to date with sales and promotions
- 🔐 Secure till operations and follow drop-safe procedures
- 📦 Make sure all items are scanned and paid for before leaving
- 👁️🗨️ Stay alert for suspicious activity and report to management
- 🧾 Ensure all transactions follow Dis-Chem policies and SOPs
- 💬 Address basic customer queries and escalate issues when needed
