As a Store Cleaner at Dis-Chem, your main responsibility will be to keep the store clean and hygienic at all times. You’ll work in different areas, including the store floor, stock room, dispensary, admin office, and canteen, ensuring everything is spotless and well-maintained.

This role is perfect for hardworking and detail-oriented individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment.

🧹 Your Main Responsibilities

✅ Clean the Store Daily – Ensure the shop floor, stock room, canteen, and restrooms are spotless before opening.
✅ Maintain Hygiene Standards – Follow Dis-Chem’s cleaning procedures to maintain high hygiene levels.
✅ Restock Cleaning Supplies – Make sure restrooms and canteen areas have all the necessary products.
✅ Stay Available During Store Hours – Be ready to clean up spills or messes when needed.
✅ Use the Right Cleaning Products – Ensure correct products and equipment are used for each cleaning task.
✅ Follow Safety Procedures – Always use a “wet floor” sign when mopping to prevent accidents.
✅ Assist Customers – Be professional and helpful if customers need assistance.
✅ Follow Health & Safety Rules – Work according to Health and Safety Regulations to keep the environment safe.

📌 Who Can Apply? (Minimum Requirements)

✔ Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
✔ At least 6 months of cleaning experience
✔ Basic English communication skills (written and spoken)
✔ Customer service skills – be friendly and professional
✔ Able to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays

Bonus Points If You Have:

➕ Can speak multiple languages (Bilingual candidates preferred)
➕ Previous experience cleaning in a retail store
