What You’ll Do as a Hygiene Operator

Your main job will be to clean food production areas using a special cleaning method known as the 10-Step Cleaning Process. You’ll work with chemicals and cleaning equipment to make sure the site is always safe and hygienic. Your work will help make sure the food produced in the plant is safe to eat.

Here’s what your day-to-day work will look like:

Daily Cleaning: Follow the 10-step cleaning process to meet food safety rules.
Keep the Area Safe: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace at all times.
Handle Deep Cleans: Take care of both routine and deep cleaning jobs, including CIP (Clean-in-Place) processes.
Work With Customers: Help meet client expectations with high-quality cleaning and service.
Stay on Schedule: Follow daily cleaning tasks according to the given shift schedule.
Manage Stock: Control and monitor the use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.

What You’ll Need to Qualify

Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
Experience in dry plant cleaning is a plus (not required)
Deep cleaning experience is a must
Must be willing to work different shifts, including weekends
Able to follow daily instructions and complete work on time
