What Is the Job All About?

As a Survey Assistant at Engen, your job will be to help create surveys, collect data, and organize everything into useful reports. This information helps the company understand how well their supply chain is working. In simpler terms, you’ll help make sure the company is doing things the smart and efficient way!

You’ll be working with a team, talking to different departments, and making sure everyone has the info they need. This isn’t just about filling out forms – it’s about helping the business grow and serve its customers better.

What Do You Need to Apply?

Before you apply, check if you meet these basic requirements:

• You’ve finished Grade 12 or Matric (NQF Level 4)
• You know your way around Microsoft Excel, especially advanced features
• You have 1-2 years of experience working with customers
• You’ve done at least 1 year of data analysis
• You understand how businesses and customer needs work together

🎓 Bonus Points If You Have:

• A Diploma or Degree in a related field – this isn’t required, but it will make your application stronger!

What Will You Be Doing Every Day?

This role includes a little bit of everything – communication, tech, teamwork, and problem-solving.

Business Communication

• Chat with project leaders to understand what they need
• Figure out what info needs to be collected and how to report it
• Keep your team leader updated with progress

Survey Creation

• Write clear and easy-to-understand survey questions
• Take surveys from Word docs and turn them into online formats using Survey Monkey
• Help measure customer satisfaction through survey results

Report Generation

• Take the data from surveys and put it into Excel reports
• Organize everything neatly so it’s easy to read and understand
• Make sure everything is done on time, no excuses!

Data Analysis

• Look at the survey results to find patterns, scores, and trends
• Use that info to make smart suggestions for the business
• Put together short presentations with your findings

Teamwork & Talent Management

• Help track how well other survey agents are doing
• Be part of a team that’s always improving and aiming higher
