What You’ll Be Doing (Main Responsibilities) 🚨

• Respond to emergency calls and provide medical assistance.
• Ensure readiness for emergency situations.
• Provide intermediate medical care as per scope of practice.
• Maintain professionalism and promote a positive image of ER24.

Who Can Apply? (Minimum Requirements) ✅

Education:

• Essential: Ambulance Emergency Assistant Certificate or Higher Certificate in Emergency Medical Care.
• Desired: Completion of Clinical Practice Guidelines training from the Health Professions Council of South Africa (If not completed, successful candidates must complete this training during probation).

Experience:

• Essential: At least 1 year of EMS experience.
• Desired: 1 year of ILS experience.

Skills & Knowledge Required: 📚

• Strong knowledge of best practices in emergency medical care.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
• Familiar with HPCSA guidelines and emergency procedures.
• Able to navigate travel routes and demographical areas efficiently.
• Experience with Patient Report Forms and documentation.
