In this role, you will prepare meals following set recipes and help with food preparation and maintaining cleanliness. What You Will Do

Work well with others as part of a team using good communication and interpersonal skills.
Keep food safety and hygiene at the highest standards following TSAfrika rules.
Prepare and present food items with care and attention.
Make sure portion sizes are correct to avoid waste and meet standards.
Deliver food on time to customers or departments.
Help plan menus and manage the stock of ingredients.
Be flexible to work extra hours when needed.
Stay updated on current food trends and best cooking practices.

Skills You Should Have

Good verbal and written communication.
Computer skills for tasks related to planning and stock management.
Strong planning and organizing skills.
Ability to work well in a team and support colleagues.
Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation.
Client service skills for interacting with customers and colleagues.
Ability to manage time and tasks efficiently.

What You Need to Apply

Proven experience in cooking, especially as a grill cook or similar role.
Grade 12 (Matric) certificate is required.
1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position.
Having a formal culinary qualification is a plus but not mandatory.
