What You’ll Be Doing

Operate firefighting vehicles, hoses, pumps, and specialized equipment.

Keep all firefighting vehicles and tools in perfect working condition.

What You Need to Qualify

To apply for the Firefighter position, candidates should meet the following minimum requirements:

Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
IFSAC Accredited and NFPA 1001 Firefighter 2 Certification.
Firefighter II Certification with at least 2–3 years of related experience.
Valid Code C1 Driver’s License with PrDP.
Medically and physically fit for demanding emergency work.
Strong understanding of fire prevention procedures and firefighting systems.
Hazmat experience and knowledge are essential.
First Aid (Level 1–3) and EMT certification are required.
A clear criminal record is mandatory.
Must be able to react quickly and efficiently during emergencies.

Having advanced driving experience or knowledge of specialized firefighting vehicles will be an added advantage.
