What You Will Do As a Junior Fire Fighter

As a Junior Fire Fighter at Fidelity Services Group, your main job will be to respond to fire emergencies and help people in need. But that’s not all. What You Need to Apply

• You must have completed Grade 12 (Matric).
• You must hold an IFSAC Accredited Firefighter II certification (NFPA 1001 Firefighter 2).
• You need to have at least 2 years of experience in firefighting.
• A valid and clean driver’s license is required.
• If you have advanced driving experience, it will give you an advantage.
• You must be healthy and physically fit to handle the job’s demands.
• You should have a strong understanding of fire prevention methods.
• You must know how different fire-fighting systems work, including how fires start and how to put them out.
• You need to have a clear criminal record.
• You must be able to respond quickly to emergencies.
• Good communication skills are important because you’ll be working with a team and dealing with the public.
• You should have experience or knowledge of hazardous materials (Hazmat).
• You must have completed EMT training and hold First Aid certificates (Level 1 to Level 3).
• Having a Basic Ambulance Attendant certificate is also helpful.
