Who Can Apply – Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this incredible opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

• Age: You must be between 18 and 28 years old.
• Education:
  • Matric / Grade 12 is preferred, but Grade 10 is the minimum requirement.
• Work History:
  • You must not have been permanently employed with one employer for more than one continuous year.
• Study Status:
  • You cannot be studying full-time during the programme (April 2025 – March 2026).
• Previous YES Experience:
  • You must not have participated in the YES Programme before.
• Commitment:
  • Must be willing to work a 12-month fixed-term contract.
• Transport & Accommodation:
  • Applicants are responsible for their own transport and accommodation if required.

Employment Equity:
Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups in line with South Africa’s Employment Equity Act.
