What Does a GALXBOY Sales Assistant Do?
As a Sales Assistant, your main role is to provide top-class customer service and help boost the store’s performance. From greeting customers and explaining products, to keeping the store looking fresh – you’ll be on the frontline of South Africa’s coolest streetwear experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Service
- Welcome customers and help them find the perfect fit
- Suggest products and upsell like a pro (boost sales, UPT, and conversion)
- Explain flexible payment methods (Payflex, PJN, Happy Pay)
- Represent the brand in your look and attitude – clean, stylish, and confident
2. Visual Merchandising
- Know your products – from fabric to price tags
- Steam, tag, hang, and display clothing to look its best
- Follow VM guidelines to keep the store sharp and inviting
3. Stock Management
- Keep an eye on product levels and stock up the floor
- Help keep the stockroom tidy and well-organized
- Communicate with managers about fast-selling items, shortages, and deliveries
4. Daily Store Operations
- Show up on time, every time – clock in/out and follow your shift schedule
- Use the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions and cash handling
- Keep the store clean – sweep, dust, fold, and shine for a flawless shopping vibe
What You’ll Need to Qualify
