Main Purpose of the Job:
The primary role of a Sales Assistant is to deliver top-notch customer service and contribute to the company’s growth by maximizing sales. Your mission is to ensure every customer leaves the store with a positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service:
- Greet customers warmly as they enter the store.
- Assist customers in finding products and offer tailored recommendations.
- Implement upselling and cross-selling techniques to boost sales and improve key performance indicators like Unit Per Transaction (UPT) and Average Transaction Value (ATV).
- Promote various payment options including PAYFLEX, PJN, and Happy Pay.
- Represent the GALXBOY brand with professionalism, adhering to uniform and grooming standards.
2. Visual Merchandising:
- Stay informed about product details, care instructions, and pricing to better assist customers.
- Handle product tagging, pricing, hanging, folding, and replenishing.
- Follow visual merchandising guidelines to create an inviting and organized shopping environment.
3. Stock Control:
- Monitor and replenish stock levels on the sales floor.
- Maintain an organized and clean stockroom for efficient sales processes.
- Keep managers updated on stock levels, best sellers, and restock needs.
- Receive and unbox new deliveries promptly, ensuring the sales floor is always well-stocked.
4. Daily Operations and Housekeeping:
- Adhere to time and attendance policies, including clocking in/out and reporting late arrivals.
- Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system and manage various payment methods.
- Ensure the store remains clean and tidy, including merchandise organization, floor sweeping, and display maintenance.
