What You’ll Do

As a General Worker in the water division, your main goal will be to support your team in achieving planned operational targets. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team leader or supervisor to meet daily operational goals.
Daily Inspections: Perform inspections in your designated area to ensure everything is running smoothly.
Site Management: Assist in planning and managing water sites to ensure they meet operational standards.
Problem Solving: Help solve operational challenges and report any issues to your supervisor.
Discipline and Safety: Follow company policies and procedures, especially regarding discipline and safety regulations.
Valve Operations: Open and close valves in line with operational needs.
Pipeline Management: Help with the extension and connection of pipelines as required.

What You Need to Qualify

To be considered for this role, you should have:

Education: A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
Experience: While not mandatory, having wastewater and water certificates or previous exposure to wastewater management will be a big advantage.
