📝 Job Responsibilities

As a Grade R Teacher Assistant, your main role will be to support the teacher and help young learners thrive in the classroom. Your daily tasks will include:

✅ Assisting the Grade R teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
✅ Helping students with learning, playtime, and social development.
✅ Managing classroom resources and ensuring a safe, organized environment.
✅ Supporting students who need extra attention and encouragement.
✅ Assisting with ECD (Early Childhood Development) administrative tasks.
✅ Creating a positive and engaging learning experience for young children.

🎓 What You Need to Apply

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

✔️ Diploma in Early Childhood Development (NQF5).
✔️ Previous experience as a Teacher Assistant.
✔️ Knowledge of ECD learning methods and classroom administration.

✔️ Passion for teaching and the ability to build trusting relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
