What You’ll Do
As a General Worker at H System, you’ll have a variety of important tasks. Your job will focus on keeping our buildings spotless, helping out with administrative tasks, and supporting our warehouse operations. You’ll also be responsible for following safety and hygiene rules.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cleaning Duties
- Clean various areas based on a set schedule.
- Sweep and mop floors every day.
- Vacuum carpets weekly.
- Regularly clean and stock the canteen and kitchen areas, including washing dishes and keeping appliances like the fridge and microwave clean.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms and clean walls, glass, and doorways weekly.
- Tidy up desk spaces, remove rubbish daily, and dust furniture and fixtures regularly.
- Make sure the front office area is always neat and tidy.
- Report any broken or malfunctioning equipment to the Branch Manager.
2. Administrative Tasks
- Keep track of office supplies and inform the admin department when it’s time to reorder.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, consumables, and stationery.
- Handle general admin duties, like filing and archiving documents.
- Complete cleaning checklists accurately and on time.
- Identify ways to save costs and manage refreshments for meetings or guests.
3. Warehouse Assistance
- Help out in the warehouse as needed based on company requirements.
4. Safety and Quality Control
- Follow safety guidelines and ensure all health and safety standards are met.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in the warehouse.
- Keep work areas clean and tidy at all times.

What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification.
Experience:
- At least one year in a similar role.
Knowledge:
- Able to operate cleaning equipment like vacuum cleaners.
- Understand best practices for housekeeping and safety.
- Awareness of ISO Standard requirements related to the job.
Skills:
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Good time management to handle multiple cleaning tasks effectively.
- Detailed and careful in cleaning tasks to ensure a hygienic workspace.
- Clear in communication, both oral and written.
- Efficient in organizing and storing documents physically and digitally.
Additional Requirements:
- Flexibility to work outside normal hours if needed, as per the Basic Conditions of Employment Act.
- Familiarity with the Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) document is required.
- Maintain a valid medical certificate to ensure fitness for the job. Regular health check-ups will be necessary.
