What’s the Job All About?

As a Receptionist at Herotel, your main role is to give customers and visitors a warm welcome and help things run smoothly at the front desk. You’ll be at the center of the company’s operations, helping everyone from walk-in visitors to the management team.

Here’s what your daily tasks will include:

  • Answering calls and directing them to the right departments.
  • Greeting visitors in a friendly and professional way.
  • Helping customers with questions or directing them to someone who can assist.
  • Managing the reception area to keep it neat and welcoming.
  • Booking and organizing meeting rooms.
  • Delivering messages to the right people quickly and accurately.
  • Providing general admin support for managers.
  • Handling post and courier deliveries.
  • Filing documents and keeping office records updated.

Who Can Apply?

Herotel is looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 2 years of experience working as a receptionist or in a similar role.
  • Knows how to use a computer well, especially MS Office.
  • Has a Grade 12 (matric certificate) or any equivalent qualification at NQF Level 4.
  • Can speak both English and Afrikaans fluently.
  • Is friendly, polite, and professional in how they deal with people.
  • Pays attention to details and follows instructions carefully.
  • Is always well-groomed and presentable.
  • Can stay calm under pressure and deal with multiple tasks at once.
  • Works well in a team and communicates clearly.
