🔹 What You’ll Be Doing (Job Responsibilities)

As a Cashier at JUMBO RETAIL, your job is to ensure that customers have a smooth and pleasant shopping experience while efficiently handling payments.

💰 Cashiering & Payment Processing:

✅ Use the cash register or POS system to scan and ring up items correctly
✅ Process different payment methods – cash, debit cards, and credit cards
✅ Balance the cash drawer and ensure accurate cash counts

🛍️ Customer Service & Sales:

✅ Greet customers with a warm and friendly smile
✅ Inform customers about special offers, promotions, and store events
✅ Handle customer complaints and concerns and escalate serious issues to the manager
✅ Assist customers with returns, refunds, and exchanges

📦 Stock & Store Maintenance:

✅ Restock shelves and ensure pricing labels are correct
✅ Receive, unpack, and verify new stock deliveries
✅ Keep the checkout area neat, clean, and organized

📜 What You Need to Apply (Minimum Requirements)

🎓 Qualifications:

✅ Matric (Grade 12) – Required

💼 Experience:

✅ Previous cashier and customer service experience – Preferred

🚨 Other Requirements:

✅ Must live within 20km of the store
✅ Clear criminal record
✅ Comfortable with handling cash and using POS systems
