Macsteel invites suitably qualified young applicants to apply for their Stores and Warehouse Learnership Programme. This exciting learnership is aimed at unemployed youth who want to gain real work experience and recognised training in warehouse and logistics operations. The closing date for applications is 20 February 2026, and only a limited number of opportunities are available, so early applications are strongly encouraged.
If you are between the ages of 18 and 28, have completed Matric, and are serious about building a career in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations, this learnership could be the perfect starting point.
The Stores and Warehouse Learnership at Macsteel is designed to give young people both practical workplace experience and theoretical training in warehouse and stores operations. This is not just classroom learning. Learners will spend real time inside a working warehouse environment, learning how things operate on a daily basis.
The main purpose of this learnership is to prepare participants for future employment in warehouses, distribution centres, and logistics environments. By the end of the programme, learners will understand how stock is received, stored, handled, and distributed safely and correctly.
This learnership runs for 12 months, and learners must be fully committed for the full duration of the programme.
