Mogale City Municipality: Plant Production Learnership Programme 2025/2026 (X25 Posts)

Mogale City Municipality is offering 25 Plant Production Learnerships for 2025/2026, aimed at unemployed youth living within the municipality. This 12-month programme pays a stipend of R2,000 per month and focuses on agriculture, tourism, environmental studies, and horticulture fields. Applicants must meet these key criteria:

  • Be a South African citizen aged 18 to 35 years
  • Have a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent with Mathematics (Pure Maths or Maths Literacy)
  • Be unemployed and not currently participating in any other SETA program or receiving NSFAS funding
  • Reside within the Mogale City Local Municipality area
  • Have no criminal record
  • Not hold an N6 qualification or higher

The learnership is non-renewable and prioritizes previously disadvantaged and disabled persons as part of the municipality’s commitment to equal employment opportunities.

Applicants must submit:

  • A detailed application letter specifying the post and qualification
  • A Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Two certified copies of their ID
  • A stamped original residency confirmation letter from the Ward Councillor
  • Certified copies of all relevant qualification certificates (not older than six months)
