Mr Price Human Resource Graduate Programme

Mr Price Invites Young, Ambitious Graduates to Apply for Their 2025 Human Resource Graduate Programme (Multiple Posts). The Closing Date for Applications Is Fast Approaching – Don’t Miss Out!

Are you a recent Human Resource or Industrial Psychology graduate ready to jump-start your career? Mr Price Group has officially opened applications for their Human Resource Graduate Programme for 2025. If you’re passionate about working with people, solving real problems, and being part of a big brand, this opportunity is perfect for you. This is your chance to get a foot in the door at one of South Africa’s most dynamic retail companies.

The programme runs for 12 months, starting on 1 August 2025 and ending 31 July 2026. If selected, you’ll work either at Mr Price’s Head Office in Durban or at their state-of-the-art Distribution Centre in Hammarsdale. The company is offering more than just a job — it’s offering a future. Here’s everything you need to know.

What is the Mr Price HR Graduate Programme?

The Mr Price Human Resource Graduate Programme is a full-year opportunity designed to train, grow, and prepare young graduates for real HR jobs. Instead of sitting in a classroom, you’ll get your hands dirty by working on real-life Human Resource projects. That means learning while doing — and getting paid for it.

You won’t be doing boring admin work. Instead, you’ll be given proper challenges that make a difference to the business. You’ll work side-by-side with experienced HR professionals who will guide and support you. This one-year contract is your first big step into the world of Human Resources and retail.

Who Can Apply?

Mr Price is looking for smart, focused graduates who have completed a degree in any of the following areas:

  • BCom Human Resource Management
  • Industrial Psychology
  • Human Resource Management

But that’s not all. To apply, you also need to:

  • Have finished your studies — no ongoing studies or being enrolled in other programmes.
  • Be available for the full 12-month programme (from 1 August 2025 to 31 July 2026).
  • Not be permanently employed for more than a year by the same company.
  • Be open to working in Durban or Hammarsdale.

What Kind of Person Is Mr Price Looking For?

Mr Price isn’t just looking for qualifications — they want people with energy, ideas, and drive. If you have a real passion for retail and working with people, that’s already a big plus.

They are especially looking for graduates who are:

  • Good at building relationships and working in teams
  • Curious and eager to learn new things
  • Digitally smart – you know how to use tech to solve problems
  • Quick thinkers who can adapt to change easily
  • Not afraid to speak up or try something new
  • Self-motivated and ready to get started without being told what to do

If this sounds like you, then you’re exactly who Mr Price wants.

Why You Should Apply

Let’s be honest — jobs are hard to find, and not all of them help you grow. But this one is different. Mr Price is giving you real experience, support from industry pros, and a name that makes your CV stand out.

Even better? If you do well during the programme, there’s a good chance you’ll be offered something more permanent afterward. It’s more than just a graduate programme — it’s your entry into a top company.

How to Apply

Ready to take the leap? Make sure you have all your documents in order:

  • Your updated CV
  • Your certified qualifications
  • A short motivational letter showing why you’re the perfect fit

Make sure to apply before the closing date, as Mr Price doesn’t accept late applications.
