Store Supervisor Role at Mr Price

Job Overview:

As a Store Supervisor at Mr Price, you’ll support store management in daily operations to ensure the overall objectives, store targets, and customer service standards are met and exceeded. You’ll play a key role in driving sales, managing the team, handling stock, and ensuring compliance with policies.

Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Experience Management:

Drive sales by implementing customer experience processes to meet customer service standards and achieve sales targets.
Meet customer service standards and achieve sales targets, including new account/membership goals.
Maintain floor housekeeping and visual merchandise standards to enhance the shopping experience.

Team Management:

Assist in leading the store team to achieve store KPIs and operational strategies aligned with company values.
Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to up-skill and enable store associates.

Stock Management:

Ensure accurate receipt and unpacking of stock to merchandise and replenish the sales floor.
Monitor and manage stock levels to mitigate risks and ensure adequate stock availability.
Oversee the maintenance of the stockroom to meet housekeeping standards.

Risk Management:

Assist with compliance checks through defined processes such as admin checks, store audits, visual audits, COMO reports, POS reports, health & safety standards, weekly hanger counts, and security measures.
Ensure and enforce overall compliance with policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Grade 12 certificate.
2 to 3 years of experience in a retail supervisory role.
Knowledge of sales and service management.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Effective communication skills.
Business understanding of retail trade, brand, customer, and product.
