Purpose of the Position

Key Responsibilities

As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Operating the cash register and handling payments accurately.

Minimum Requirements

To apply for the PEP Part-Time Sales Assistant position, you need to meet the following:

  • Matric (Grade 12) is compulsory.
  • Experience in one or more of the following roles: Cashier, Store Assistant, Sales Consultant, Sales Representative, Retail Assistant, or similar.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Must live within 15 km of the store location.
  • Must have a clear criminal record.

Preferences (Not Mandatory)

While not compulsory, candidates who meet the following preferences will have an added advantage:

  • South African citizenship.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • A passion for retail and customer service.
  • Age between 20 and 30 years old.
