About the Job

As a General Worker Fuel Attendant, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that our bakery vehicles are ready and fueled on time to meet our distribution needs. This position involves a combination of fueling, safety checks, and communication with management to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

The role of a Fuel Attendant requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and efficient communication. Here’s what your daily tasks will include:

Fueling Operations: Ensure our bakery vehicles are always fueled up and ready for deliveries. You’ll handle the pumps, monitor fuel levels, and accurately dispense fuel to keep everything on schedule.
Safety and Compliance: Safety is key. You’ll need to follow strict safety protocols, wear the required safety gear, and adhere to environmental regulations. Keeping safety in mind helps protect you and your team.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintaining a clean and organized fueling area is crucial. From disposing of trash to cleaning windshields upon request, you’ll make sure the area is well-kept and tidy.
Stock Management: Monitor fuel levels in storage tanks to ensure we’re never running low. You’ll also coordinate fuel supply orders as needed, keeping our operations consistent.
Record Keeping: Accurate records of fuel transactions are a must. You’ll track each transaction, report any discrepancies, and communicate these to management to keep everything in check.
Communication with Management: Regular updates and communication with management will be key to handling any issues or concerns related to fueling operations.

What You Need to Qualify

Premier is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications and experience:

Qualifications: A Grade 12 certificate with strong numerical abilities, along with basic PC literacy, is required for this role.
Driver’s License: You’ll need a valid Code C driver’s license.
Experience: At least three years in a similar position within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry. Knowledge of sales operations is a plus.
