What is the Sanlam YEP Learnership?

The Sanlam YEP Learnership is a 12-month contract where you’ll get hands-on experience in a real job while studying toward a Certificate in Wealth Management (NQF Level 4). It’s a full-time programme with classroom learning, workplace training, mentorship, and coaching – all designed to prepare you for long-term success.

Sanlam’s goal? To train and develop the next generation of business professionals. After the learnership, top-performing learners will be offered permanent positions in junior roles within the company.

What Will You Do?

Who Can Apply?

This opportunity is meant for South African youth who are ready to start a full-time 12-month journey of learning and development.

You must:

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Be unemployed
  • Not hold any tertiary qualification
  • Be between 18 and 35 years old
  • Have passed Grade 12 with at least 50% in Mathematics or Math Literacy or Accounting, and 50% in English
  • Be able to read, write, and speak fluent English
  • Be willing to commit to the full 12 months
  • Have a clear criminal and credit record
  • Have access to reliable transport
