What You’ll Be Doing (Main Duties)
As a Fuel Distribution Officer, your job is to make sure fuel is delivered safely and on time to different Sasol sites. This is an important role because it helps keep everything running smoothly. Here are some of your daily tasks:
- Deliver fuel safely and on time using Sasol’s trucks.
- Make sure all deliveries are done properly with the right paperwork.
- Do pre-trip vehicle checks and report anything wrong.
- Keep in touch with the control center and report any issues.
- Follow safety steps during fuel loading and delivery.
- Avoid spills and make sure there is no fuel contamination.
- Work according to company safety rules and national safety laws.
What You Need to Apply
Education:
- Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
Licenses and Certificates:
- EC (Code 14) driver’s license
- Valid PrDP (Professional Driving Permit)
- Dangerous Goods and Hazchem Certification
Experience:
- 2 to 5 years of driving and transporting fuel
- Must have worked in the petroleum/fuel industry before
