Minimum Requirements:

  • A Senior Certificate (Grade 12 or NQF Level 4).
  • Must be computer literate.

Added Advantage:

  • Having a valid driver’s license will give you an extra edge.
  • Prior experience in administration or clerical work is also beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:


If selected for this position, your duties will include:

  • Helping to manage and administer Social Grants at the local office.
  • Offering excellent customer care services to applicants.
  • Screening grant applications to ensure they meet all requirements.
  • Processing grant applications and ensuring all information is accurate.
  • Conducting quality control checks on applications and processing of medical and payment processes.
  • Following the guidelines outlined in Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
