Servest Housekeeper/Laundry Vacancies

Servest is calling on committed job seekers to apply for the Housekeeper/Laundry vacancies at their VUP Village operation in Musina. Suitable and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply before the closing date of 23 November 2025. This is a great chance for people who want to grow their careers in the hospitality and cleaning sector while working for a leading facilities management company.

Why This Opportunity Matters

Finding a stable job in today’s world can be tough, but Servest continues to offer real job opportunities to hardworking and motivated individuals. The company is known across South Africa as a top provider of Integrated Facilities Management services. They create environments that encourage new skills, growth, and development. Working here gives employees the chance to work with professionals who are experienced and supportive.

The Housekeeper/Laundry position is available in the Catering Business Unit and reports to the Project Manager. The successful applicant will become part of a hardworking team responsible for keeping guest areas and staff spaces clean, safe, and welcoming. This position is temporary, but it provides an excellent chance to gain experience and prove yourself in a large organisation.

What Servest Is Looking For

To apply, candidates must meet a few basic requirements. Applicants should have completed Matric and must have experience in housekeeping or a similar cleaning environment. This ensures that the person who gets the job is already familiar with the work and can perform tasks with confidence and care. Attention to detail and a positive attitude are also highly important, as housekeeping plays a major role in maintaining the image of the organisation.

The company values individuals who are motivated, responsible, and capable of working with minimal supervision. Since this is a customer-facing environment, good communication and respectful behaviour are essential. Everyone who works in housekeeping represents Servest, and therefore must carry out their duties in a professional manner at all times.

Main Responsibilities

The role of a Housekeeper/Laundry worker at Servest includes several important duties. These tasks are focused on maintaining a clean, neat, and healthy environment for guests and staff. The responsibilities include washing, ironing, and folding linen to ensure bedding and towels are always clean and ready for use. The job also requires disinfecting floors, surfaces, and linen to maintain proper hygiene standards.

Cleaners will also clean toilets, sinks, and windows in rooms when needed. They will tidy guest rooms, change bedding, make beds daily, and clean common areas. Removing waste from lodge floors is another key duty, and employees must manage dustbins properly to prevent bad odours and unhygienic conditions.

The job requires staff to always behave in a friendly, polite, and helpful manner, especially when dealing with guests. Sometimes the Housekeeper may assist in showing guests to their rooms or helping them with simple requests. A big part of the job is ensuring guests feel welcomed and comfortable at all times.

Other responsibilities may include cleaning up after housekeeping activities and supporting supervisors whenever needed. Some shifts may require working at night, so applicants must be willing to work flexible hours when required.

Working in a Supportive Environment

Servest is known for creating a workplace where employees can build new skills and improve their working experience. Even though this job is temporary, it gives workers the chance to be part of a successful company where their hard work is recognised. Employees who perform well may have opportunities to advance or be considered for other roles in the future.

The organisation values teamwork, honesty, and good work performance. They give employees the chance to work with experienced professionals who understand what it takes to deliver quality service in a competitive industry.

How to Apply

Candidates who meet the requirements and are interested in this housekeeping position should submit their applications before 23 November 2025. Applicants should prepare a detailed CV that highlights their housekeeping experience and includes accurate contact information.

If you want a job where you can learn, grow, and be part of a professional workplace, then this opportunity at Servest could be the right step for you. Make sure to apply before the deadline and give yourself the chance to join a recognised leader in the facilities management industry.
