Position Overview

As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our warehouse operations run smoothly. You will be responsible for picking and packing stock for dispatch, as well as assisting with various warehouse duties. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, can work well in a team, and is eager to contribute to the overall efficiency of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Picking and Packing: Accurately pick and pack stock for dispatch, ensuring that all items are prepared for delivery according to company standards.
Stock Dispatch: Load stock into Value containers for dispatching, ensuring that all items are securely packed and ready for transport.
Warehouse Support: Assist with general warehouse duties, including put away, receiving goods, stock counts, and general housekeeping tasks.
Stock Maintenance: Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring that the warehouse is well-organized and inventory is accurately tracked.
Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse, adhering to all company safety standards.
Daily Cycle Count: Conduct daily cycle counts of inventory to ensure accuracy and proper stock management.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Grade 12 is required. A qualification in warehouse management, supply chain, or a related field will be beneficial.
Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse or similar role is required.
Technical Skills: Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook is essential. Experience with Granite and AccPac systems is advantageous.
Licenses: A valid reach truck or forklift license will be a significant advantage.
