Key Roles and Responsibilities of GMTs
Throughout the 10-month program, you will gain invaluable experience across multiple business functions, preparing you to take on future leadership roles. Here’s what you can expect:
Three-Month Rotations:
GMTs will rotate through three core areas: Marketing, Sales or Technology, and Supply/Logistics.
Each rotation is aligned with SAB’s strategic pillars, exposing you to different challenges and enabling you to work on real business problems.
Global Induction at Cheers! Festival:
As part of the program, you will attend the Cheers! Festival, SAB’s global induction event where senior leaders discuss the company’s strategy, and you’ll get the chance to network with peers from around the world.
Projects & Problem Solving:
Participate in projects that provide hands-on learning in real business challenges, driving innovation and results in key departments.
Unique Exposure to Senior Leaders:
You will have direct exposure to senior management and be part of high-profile meetings that shape the future of SAB.
Mentorship & Development Opportunities:
Gain access to the global GMT alumni database and benefit from formal mentoring programs and leadership development training.
Cross-Zone Mobility:

Who Should Apply?
We’re looking for ambitious individuals who want to make a difference and grow with us. To qualify for the GMT Program, you need:
- Undergraduate Degree (STEM disciplines preferred)
- Postgraduate Studies (Business Administration, Management, or equivalent) would be an advantage.
- Work Experience: A maximum of 3 years of formal work experience (internships, vacation work, and short contracts do not count).
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English.
- Mobility: Willingness to work in various locations across South Africa.
