Job Description
As the Head of Operations & Project Delivery, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of Standard Bank’s MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator). This includes day-to-day and strategic operations like customer service, billing, supply chain management, vendor relationships, asset management, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth and efficient back-office operations, customer service, and billing management.
- Oversee supply chain and courier management, as well as vendor and asset management.
- Manage the planning and execution of all operational functions, including network operations and risk governance.
- Lead the operations and project teams, offering guidance to maintain high productivity.
- Develop operational budgets and ensure financial sustainability.
- Work closely with senior leaders to align operations with business strategy.
- Monitor performance metrics, implement improvement plans, and report regularly to senior executives.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualification: First Degree in Business Commerce.
- Experience Required:
Over 10 years of experience in operations, strategy, and technology within the telecommunications industry. Proven experience in managing operations budgets, aligning business operations with strategy, and leading large teams.
