Position: Inbound Assistant
Location: Johannesburg
Department: Inbound Division
Reports to: Inbound Division Lead

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Communication: Interact with suppliers through internal systems, emails, and phone calls to ensure smooth operations.

Exception Management: Inform suppliers of exceptions and drive collections within SLA, following up on missed collections and resolving any issues.

Query Resolution: Investigate supplier queries and ensure they are resolved within SLA, escalating when necessary.

Data Review: Review and correct data errors, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Aging Stock Management: Monitor and address issues related to aging stock in the warehouse, particularly focusing on inbound exceptions.

Problem-Solving: Propose and implement solutions to prevent collection issues, working closely with relevant stakeholders.

Attention to Detail: Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality in all tasks.
Excel Proficiency: Strong skills in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and tables.
Problem-Solving: Solutions-oriented with a proactive, can-do attitude.
Organizational Skills: Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Team Player: Ability to work well in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications:

Education: Matric or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an administrative or operational role.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, with a particular emphasis on Excel (including VLOOKUPs). Ability to learn and work with internal data capturing and warehouse management systems.
