What You’ll Be Doing as a Sales Supervisor:

Maximizing Profits: Assist the Store Manager in achieving monthly budget goals, helping to drive the store’s profitability.

Ensuring Smooth Operations: You’ll ensure that the store’s administration is aligned with the Standard Operating Procedures, and that stock losses are kept to a minimum.

Maintaining Brand Standards: Implement and maintain brand standards to meet customer expectations, including visual merchandising and promotion setups.

Customer Service Excellence: Coordinate daily customer service operations, including sales processes, orders, and payments, to ensure customers leave happy and satisfied.

Leading Your Team: Supervise and motivate your team to meet their daily targets. You’ll coach and support new and existing Sales Associates, helping them to perform at their best.

Store Management: You’ll be responsible for managing the store in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring that everything runs smoothly.

Opening and Closing Duties: Handle the opening and closing of the store, ensuring that all procedures are followed correctly.

What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications: A Grade 12/Matric certificate is essential. Being computer literate and proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.) is also required.
Experience: We’re looking for someone with at least 1–2 years of experience as a Senior Sales Assistant in the retail sector.
Skills: Strong interpersonal and selling skills are a must, along with excellent planning, organizing, and time management abilities. You should also be fluent in English and another official South African language relevant to the region.
Personal Traits: We value logical thinking, high energy levels, and performance-driven individuals. You should also be able to work independently as well as part of a team, with strong leadership and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Profit Maximization: Work closely with the Store Manager to achieve and exceed monthly budgets.
Operational Excellence: Ensure all store operations align with Tekkie Town’s Standard Operating Procedures.
Stock Management: Keep updated with the latest stock trends and ensure the unpacking process runs smoothly.
Customer Interaction: Provide outstanding customer care, interacting with and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Team Leadership: Motivate and coach your team to meet their daily sales targets and perform at their best.
