What Will You Do as a Receptionist at The Capital Hotels?

  • Check Guests In and Out: Be the friendly face welcoming guests when they arrive and helping them when they leave.
  • Manage Guest Accounts: Keep track of guest bills and process payments during their stay.
  • Handle Special Requests: Listen carefully and help with any needs or special requests guests might have.
  • Assist with Reservations: Help with booking rooms when needed to make sure guests have a smooth experience.

What You Need to Qualify:

  • Matric certificate (Grade 12)
  • A hospitality qualification or something similar.
  • Between 1 to 2 years of receptionist experience.
  • Strong skills using computers, especially MS Office and hotel software like Protel.
  • Ability to stay calm and solve problems quickly when issues arise.
  • Comfortable working both alone and as part of a team.
  • Honest, trustworthy, and respectful of confidential information.
  • Detail-focused and always presentable.
  • Good communication skills — well-spoken and polite.
  • Willingness to work shifts.
  • Able to handle sensitive information with care and professionalism.

  • Salary: R8,000 per month
  • Job Type: Permanent, full-time
  • Location: Note that if you live outside the city, you will need to cover your own relocation costs.
