Totalsports is Hiring Sales Associates


Totalsports invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the Sales Associate (40hr) position. Applications close on 19 August 2025.

As a Sales Associate, you’ll play a vital role in creating an unforgettable shopping experience for every customer who walks through our doors.


What You’ll Be Doing

Your main mission? To be an ambassador for the Totalsports brand and make sure every customer leaves our store feeling satisfied, inspired, and ready to achieve their goals.

Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

  • Greeting customers and delivering exceptional service from the moment they enter.
  • Understanding customer needs and recommending the best products to suit them.
  • Actively tracking your sales performance against targets.
  • Selling a wide variety of products and keeping up with the latest sports, fashion, and décor trends.
  • Finding new opportunities to make sales and grow store revenue.
  • Assisting with restocking shelves to ensure the store is always ready for customers.
  • Working with your team to keep displays fresh, exciting, and on-brand.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Negotiation and selling skills
  • The ability to handle customer challenges professionally
  • A positive, can-do attitude
