What You’ll Be Doing as a Shop Assistant

As a Shop Assistant, you’ll play a major role in delivering the brand’s legendary “AWWWESOME” customer experience. Your main job? Make shopping magical for every customer who walks through the door.

Here’s what your day-to-day could look like:

Customer Experience

• Greet customers with a smile and help them find what they need
• Offer helpful advice and product recommendations based on each customer’s unique needs
• Deliver a WOW-level experience by making customers feel special and taken care of
• Assist customers in-store and over the phone with questions and product info

Sales & Merchandising

• Use upselling and add-on selling skills to boost sales
• Explain product features, warranties, and pricing
• Keep shelves full, clean, and looking great
• Set up sales and promotion displays on time and according to store plans
• Make sure all items are priced and tagged correctly

Stock & Store Upkeep

• Join in on regular stock counts and inventory checks
• Help reduce stock loss by keeping an eye on merchandise and following store processes
• Keep your area of the store clean, tidy, and well-organized
• Report which products are selling fast—and which ones aren’t

What You Need to Apply

• A Matric certificate (Grade 12)
• At least 6 months of retail work experience (preferred but not required)
• A positive, customer-first attitude
• Strong sales skills and a genuine love for helping people
