What You’ll Be Doing as a Shop Assistant

As a Shop Assistant, you’ll play a major role in delivering the brand’s legendary “AWWWESOME” customer experience. Your main job? Make shopping magical for every customer who walks through the door.

Here’s what your day-to-day could look like:

Customer Experience

Greet customers with a smile and help them find what they need
Offer helpful advice and product recommendations based on each customer’s unique needs
Deliver a WOW-level experience by making customers feel special and taken care of
Assist customers in-store and over the phone with questions and product info

Sales & Merchandising

Use upselling and add-on selling skills to boost sales
Explain product features, warranties, and pricing
Keep shelves full, clean, and looking great
Set up sales and promotion displays on time and according to store plans
Make sure all items are priced and tagged correctly

Stock & Store Upkeep

Join in on regular stock counts and inventory checks
Help reduce stock loss by keeping an eye on merchandise and following store processes
Keep your area of the store clean, tidy, and well-organized
Report which products are selling fast—and which ones aren’t

What You Need to Apply

To be a part of this fun and growing retail team, here’s what you’ll need:

A Matric certificate (Grade 12)
At least 6 months of retail work experience (preferred but not required)
A positive, customer-first attitude
Strong sales skills and a genuine love for helping people
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Must have your own or reliable transport to get to and from shifts
