Tracker is Hiring: 25 Business Administration Learnerships – No Experience Needed, Apply Before 19 August!


Tracker invites suitably qualified and motivated applicants to apply for their Business Administration Services Learnership Programme (25 Positions). The closing date for applications is 19 August 2025.

Tracker, a well-known leader in vehicle tracking and recovery services, is offering 25 learnership positions to young South Africans who are ready to learn, grow, and gain valuable work experience.

This 12-month programme is designed to help you develop strong business and administrative skills, while giving you hands-on experience in a professional workplace. You’ll learn while you work, earning a minimal stipend to help cover basic expenses, and by the end of the programme, you’ll have a recognised qualification: the Further Education and Training Certificate: Business Administration Services (SAQA ID 61595).

About the Learnership

Tracker’s Business Administration Learnership combines theoretical training and practical workplace activities to give you a well-rounded learning experience. You will be placed in one of the following departments:

  • Customer Engagement
  • Acquisitions & Scheduling

These departments are the heartbeat of Tracker’s daily operations, giving you the opportunity to work in customer service, scheduling, and administration.

What You’ll Do

As part of the programme, you will:

  • Handle general admin tasks such as filing, record keeping, and capturing data.
  • Attend classroom-based learning one day a week (or as needed).
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and spreadsheets.
  • Communicate with customers and colleagues via email, phone, or face-to-face.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal teams and Tracker clients.
  • Answer calls and resolve queries according to company policies and service standards.
  • Update client information accurately while on calls.
  • Help maintain service levels and meet departmental targets.
  • Follow up on outstanding customer queries until resolved.
  • Assist customers with basic financial or legal queries.
  • Support customer retention through friendly and professional interactions.
  • Conduct post-installation testing of Tracker units and provide first-line technical support.
  • Respond quickly to emails and messages in line with company SLAs.
  • Take on any other duties assigned to ensure smooth operations in the Customer Service division.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this learnership, you must:

  • Be a South African citizen with a valid ID.
  • Be aged 18–35 with no criminal record.
  • Have Matric with:
    • Level 4/D in English, and
    • Level 3/E in Mathematics or Maths Literacy.
  • Be currently unemployed and not studying.
  • Have basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Communicate well (both verbally and in writing).
  • Be able to work in a professional, structured environment.
  • Have a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic.
  • Enjoy customer service and remain professional in all situations.
  • Handle pressure and adapt to change easily.
  • Work well in a team and manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Pay attention to detail and have good interpersonal skills.
