WeBuyCars is one of South Africa’s most trusted names in buying and selling vehicles. Now, with our Lansdowne branch opening in November 2025, we’re expanding—and we want reliable, detail-oriented individuals to join us as Wash Bay Attendants.

This is an entry-level position, perfect for someone with a Matric certificate and a little hands-on experience who wants to work in a professional and supportive team.

Job Overview – What You’ll Be Doing

As a Wash Bay Attendant, your main job is to clean, detail, and maintain vehicles—inside and out. This includes everything from regular sedans to SUVs, bakkies, motorcycles, and even trucks.

Here’s what your daily tasks will include:

Washing and detailing the inside and outside of vehicles to keep them in great condition
Using equipment like high-pressure washers and safe cleaning chemicals
Keeping all cleaning tools and machines clean and working properly
Spotting and reporting any broken equipment to your supervisor
Making sure all health, safety, and environmental rules are followed
Providing a high-quality cleaning service that meets or exceeds customer expectations
Working as part of a tight-knit, efficient team to get the job done on time

Who Should Apply?

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 (Matric) Certificate
Valid Driver’s License
At least 1 year of experience working in a wash bay or similar environment

Ability to stay calm and focused when things get busy
