What Does the Job Involve?

As a Customer Assistant, your main role is to ensure customers leave the store with a positive and lasting impression. From assisting at till points to ensuring food safety and merchandising standards, you’ll play a key part in Woolworths’ commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers with a friendly, helpful attitude.
Process till transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy.
Promote available services like airtime and utility bill payments.
Maintain stock hygiene standards and replenish stock on the sales floor.
Provide product knowledge to customers and suggest alternatives when necessary.
Minimize shrinkage by adhering to corporate policies and reporting any suspicious activity.
Keep the till point clean, safe, and organized.
Demonstrate self-discipline with punctuality, hygiene, and adherence to dress code policies.

What Do You Need to Apply?

Essential Requirements:

Fluent in English.
Reside within 15km of the job location.
Clear criminal record.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):

EE/AA and South African candidates are encouraged to apply.
