Exact (part of the TFG Group) is offering a YES Youth Opportunity under the Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme. If you’re chosen, you’ll join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract where you’ll gain valuable work experience, earn a monthly stipend, and build a strong foundation for your career — no previous experience required!

What Is the YES Youth Opportunity?

YES (Youth Employment Service) is a nationwide programme designed to help young South Africans gain real-world job experience and boost their chances of finding long-term employment.

At Exact, part of The Foschini Group (TFG), this programme gives you the chance to work in fashion retail while developing essential job skills. If you’re passionate about fashion, sneakers, and helping customers, this is the perfect place to start.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify for this opportunity, you must tick the following boxes:

✅ Be aged between 18–28 years old
✅ Have Matric (Grade 12) or at least Grade 10
✅ Be currently unemployed
✅ Be willing to commit to a 12-month work experience contract
✅ Have never worked permanently for the same employer for more than 12 months
✅ Not be studying full-time between April 2023 and March 2024
✅ Not have previously registered or participated in the YES Programme
✅ Be able to cover your own transport and accommodation, if needed
✅ Be part of the designated groups under the Employment Equity Act (preference will be given)

What You’ll Do at Exact (Sneaker Factory)

You’ll be placed at Sneaker Factory – part of the Exact brand – and here’s what your daily tasks might look like:

Helping customers find their perfect fit and making sales
Unpacking and managing new stock deliveries
Keeping the store tidy and organized
Learning about product trends, customer service, and store operations
Working with a vibrant team that shares a passion for sneakers and style
Growing your confidence in communication, teamwork, and retail basics
