What You’ll Be Doing
As a Waiter or Waitress, your job is to make sure every guest has an amazing dining experience. You’ll take orders, serve food and drinks, and handle any guest needs in a friendly and professional way.
Here are some of the main tasks you’ll be responsible for:
- Prepare your work area before each shift to make sure everything is ready for customers.
- Ensure that all necessary equipment, utensils, and materials are available and in good condition.
- Report any damaged equipment to management.
- Clean waste bins daily, both inside and out, to maintain hygiene.
- Stack and store items properly, following the company’s safety rules and regulations.
- Learn the restaurant’s menu and Point of Sale (POS) system completely, so you can take accurate orders.
- Confirm customer orders and make sure they are entered correctly into the system.
- Check the quality of the food before it is served to guests, making sure it meets company standards.
- Follow strict hygiene rules and always wear the correct uniform.
- Handle any questions or requests from guests with professionalism and a friendly attitude.
This role is hands-on and requires attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work well under pressure.

- Minimum 1 year of practical experience working in hospitality as a waiter or waitress.
Skills & Abilities:
- Able to speak, read, and write in English.
- Comfortable speaking to groups of managers, staff, suppliers, and guests.
- Able to adapt to different work areas and conditions.
- Willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Have your own reliable transport and accommodation.
- Good personal hygiene and a neat, presentable appearance.
