Job Schedule: Full Time

As a Stock Clerk at The Fix, you’ll be an essential part of our finance team, ensuring all stock-related activities are tracked and managed efficiently. Your role will involve preparing trading stock information, documenting stock reconciliations, investigating and resolving stock claims, and much more.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

  1. Stock Tracking and Claims: Perform all activities related to tracking and claiming stock.
  2. Stock Information: Prepare and provide trading stock information as needed.
  3. Stock Reconciliations: Document and record all stock reconciliations for audits.
  4. Query Resolution: Investigate and resolve queries and exceptions in stock reconciliations.
  5. Burglary Processes: Perform all necessary burglary processes and calculations.
  6. Monthly Reconciliations: Process monthly reconciliations for purchases in Namibia, Swaziland, and Botswana stores.
  7. Manual Journal Adjustments: Process and post adjustments for Finance BPs, including entries for cost of sales, branch losses, customer complaints, and head office losses.
  8. System Updates: Upload verified stock onto PMM and ensure systems are updated accurately.
  9. Collaboration: Work with the Stock teams to complete month-end and year-end processes.
  10. System Implementation: Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for relevant system implementations.

📚 Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • Grade 12
  • Diploma or equivalent certification in Finance/Accounting/Systems
  • 2-3 years of administrative experience

Advantageous:

  • Experience in stock tracking/claims
