A respected manufacturing company is looking for people to join their team as Temporary General Workers. This is a 3-month full-time contract where you’ll work 9 hours a day during the weekdays. The start date is as soon as possible.

If you’re someone who can follow instructions, work hard, and stay on your feet for long hours, this role could be a perfect fit for you. You don’t need a lot of experience to get started, and training will be provided. All you need is a Grade 12 certificate, good work habits, and a clean criminal record.

What This Job is About

The company needs General Workers to help with daily tasks on the production line. Your main job will be to assist with physical tasks and make sure everything on the line runs smoothly. You’ll also be expected to work with your team and switch roles when needed.

The job includes a variety of tasks such as cleaning, packing, moving materials, and making sure quality standards are followed. You will also help in areas like the wash bay, warehouse, and cleaning section when needed. This role is perfect if you’re flexible, hardworking, and can keep up with fast-paced work.

What You’ll Be Doing Each Day

Here’s a list of what you will be expected to do at work:

Follow all instructions and stick to the production process.
Keep production areas clean and organized.
Help with checking and counting stock in the warehouse.
Make sure your workstation stays clean.
Move between different areas of production when needed.
Always be on time and work with a good attitude.
Practice safe work habits and promote food safety in the workplace.
Assist with cleaning, sorting, and basic warehouse duties.

What You Need to Apply

You don’t need to have lots of experience, but there are some basic requirements:

Grade 12 (Matric certificate)
Able to speak and understand English
Must live within 15km of the company
Clean criminal record

Previous experience in general work or on a production line
Between 20 and 40 years old
South African citizenship

What Skills You Need

This job is hands-on, so you should be okay with physical work. You also need to be someone who can solve problems, follow instructions, and work well with a team. Flexibility is key—being able to move to different sections when needed will help a lot.
