What You’ll Do as a General Assistant

1. Support Operations:

You will be responsible for completing tasks that keep production on track. This includes preparing rooms and equipment for use, making sure everything is sanitized, and following all company rules to keep the workspace safe. You’ll work closely with the team to make sure each step of production runs smoothly.

3. Material Handling:

You’ll manage raw materials by dispensing, weighing, and transferring them to the production area. Ensuring that all materials are ready and in place for use is an essential part of the production process. Proper handling of these materials helps minimize waste and maximize productivity.

4. Routine Support and Maintenance:

Keeping the production area clean is another key responsibility. You’ll be in charge of cleaning both before and after each production run, ensuring that everything stays sanitary and in line with SOPs. You’ll also assist with checking and maintaining equipment, as well as addressing any operational issues that arise during production.

5. Reporting and Record Keeping:

You’ll be tasked with filling out important documents such as batch record labels, inspection reports, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) sheets. By keeping accurate records, you help ensure compliance with pharmaceutical standards and contribute to a smoother workflow.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

To apply for this role, you should have a National Certificate (N3) or an equivalent qualification. While previous experience in manufacturing, especially in pharmaceuticals, is a plus, Aspen Holdings is open to candidates who are new to the field but eager to learn.
