Job Description

As a Receptionist at Capital Hotels, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Guest Check-In and Check-Out: Welcoming guests and handling their check-in and check-out processes smoothly.
Guest Account Management: Maintaining guest accounts and processing transactions during their stay.
Special Requests: Addressing any special needs or requests from guests to ensure their comfort.
Reservations Assistance: Assisting guests with reservations as needed.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should meet the following requirements:

Education: Matric and a Hospitality Qualification or similar.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a receptionist in the hotel industry.
Computer Skills: Strong computer literacy skills, particularly in MS Office and a reputable PMS (Protel).
Problem-Solving: A hands-on approach to problem-solving, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Team Player: Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
Integrity: Honest and trustworthy, with great attention to detail.
Professionalism: Presentable and well-spoken, able to lead by example.
Flexibility: Ability to work shifts and handle confidential information with the highest level of diplomacy.

Location and Compensation

Location: Sandton, Gauteng, South Africa
Salary: R9,000 per month
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Please note that if your application is successful and you reside outside the city where the hotel is located, you will be responsible for your own relocation costs.
