Position: Road Worker (215 Posts)

Salary: R155,148 per annum (Level 03)

What You Need to Apply:

Qualifications: NQF Level 1 or 2 (ABET Level 2 certificate or equivalent).
Skills Required:
- Basic job knowledge

- Teamwork and flexibility

Key Responsibilities:

As a Road Worker, your duties will include:

Building and maintaining culverts and side drains
Installing and maintaining steel guardrails and gabions
Handling road earthworks and layer construction
Cleaning roads, sidewalks, and resting areas
Patching potholes and maintaining road surfaces
Installing road signs, distance markers, and road markings
Clearing vegetation and cutting grass along roadways
Performing pipe laying and fence installations

Where You’ll Work:

The positions are spread across several regions, including:

Ladysmith Region (34 Posts)
Durban Region (155 Posts)
Metro, Stanger, Empangeni, and Pietermaritzburg Regions (26 Posts combined)
